Beating the Coronavirus Together One Day at a Time

TO OUR VALUED LITTLE MAN FAMILY BEATING
THE CORONAVIRUS TOGETHER ONE DAY AT A TIME

At Little Man Ice Cream Co. we are committed to providing safety to our guests and employees. While cleanliness has always been our top priority, we are being hyper-vigilant to ensure that every precaution is being made to protect everyone during this pandemic. Effective immediately, we are implementing “Social Distancing” practices. The purpose is to reduce close contact between people in an effort to slow the spread down and protect people at greatest risk. While there is a sense of infinity in these early days, there will be an end. This is not permanent. Yet, it is imperative that every one of us take this extremely seriously. Together, we can beat the Coronavirus one day at a time. Thank you for being a valued member of our Little Man family.

WHAT WE ARE DOING TO PRIORITIZE OUR COMMUNITY’S HEALTH AND SAFETY:

WE ARE FOLLOWING ALL DAILY UPDATES AND INTEGRATING HEALTH RECOMMENDATIONS
from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) as well as local government advisories, National Restaurant Association Guidelines, local
schools and business partners.

WE ARE BEING METICULOUSLY CLEAN:
sanitizing tabletops, counters, door handles, sinks, and restrooms between transactions and throughout the day. A nightly deep cleaning will include additional sanitizing of every surface with a special blended sanitizer approved by the EPA for use against the Coronavirus (COVID-19) both inside and out of our shops.

AS USUAL, GLOVES WILL BE WORN:
by all staff members serving ice cream or desserts. The team has been trained to change gloves between each customer interaction. Gloves will also be used during all deep cleanings.

ALL STAFF MEMBERS WILL THOROUGHLY WASH THEIR HANDS AND ARMS FREQUENTLY:
As per CDC requirements with soap and water for at least twenty seconds. Bathrooms will be monitored regularly to ensure
soap and paper towels are available for our guests. Hand sanitizer will be placed throughout each shop as it becomes available.

WE WILL DISCONTINUE FLAVOR TASTINGS:
If you do not enjoy a flavor you have chosen, we will happily replace your cup or cone. This practice is being implemented in several ice cream shops across Denver.

WE WILL DISCONTINUE THE USE OF “SHARED SERVICEWARE” INCLUDING:
all reusable cups, bowls, and metal spoons. Our Scoopers will provide guests with napkins, spoons, and cups. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to ask.

SOCIAL DISTANCING PRACTICES INCLUDE:
We will suspend all indoor seating at our locations and cancel all events until it is safe to resume. We strongly recommend that our guests create spacing of a minimum of 4’ between groups or individuals in the line to avoid close personal contact.

GRAB & GO AND GRUB HUB DELIVERY COMING SOON:
If you just want to hunker down at home, Pints and “Sammie’s” are available for pick up from our shops. We are currently setting up Grub Hub home delivery to bring the yum to your doorstep. (Note: not available at all locations)

CREATING A CULTURE OF HEALTH FOR OUR TEAM AND COMMUNITY:
Our team has been instructed to sleep well, drink lots of water, exercise, avoid large gatherings, and DO NOT COME TO WORK if they are experiencing any fever, cough or shortness of breath. We ask that you help us practice healthy habits and do not put others at risk if you feel sick.

PAID SICK LEAVE POLICY:
We are offering paid sick leave to all of our employees, as needed.
