Mile High Farms Hits Little Man Ice Cream’s Test Kitchen with Youthful Imagination

DENVER, CO (Sept. 19, 2013) – Mile High Farms will be collaborating with Little Man to create a unique, autumn themed ice cream flavor with their fresh-picked Pam’s and Blue Delights culinary pumpkins.

Little Man has established itself as one of the most innovative and sought-after ice cream, gelato and sorbet spots in Denver, bringing original flavor combinations and a great ambiance to the heart of the Lower Highlands neighborhood. With Mile High Farms being very creatively-driven and family focused, they have joined creative forces with Little Man’s to create an ice cream flavor to match the uniqueness of the season.

This Friday, September 20th, Mile High Farms will enlist the imaginative guidance of kids from Gold Crown Enrichment to enter Little’s Man test kitchen to develop an ice cream using Mile High Farm’s own pumpkins starting October. Also available, Mile High Farms pumpkin varieties will be sold on Little Man’s coveted patio for your family’s carving and decorating.

Mile High Farms was founded in 2011 and is currently operated by the farm’s property owners Jon, Bill and Debbie Coyle. Their goal was to create a family Fall attraction that would offer a unique experience unlike any other in the Denver-Metro area. It is truly a place filled with kids imagination as children helped to create the attractions by submitting drawings to inspire the themes and colors used throughout the farm. Another mission of Mile High Farms is to educate communities on agriculture while inspiring creativity and creating new family traditions. Little Man Ice Cream is an ice cream shop located in the Highland neighborhood of Denver. About Gold Crown Enrichment

The Gold Crown Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation founded in 1986 by former NBA great Bill Hanzlik and Colorado business leader Ray Baker. The organization operates with a mission to provide opportunities and “Educate Youth and Community Through Sports and Enrichment Programs”. As the organization has continued to grow, the Gold Crown Foundation has been able to open Gold Crown’s Computer Clubhouse: a free-of-charge, award-winning program model developed by the Boston Museum of Science and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Laboratory.
